Floating Picture Frame

When I had my son, Xavier, a friend of mine gave me this really awesome floating picture frame. After we got our first family pictures taken I placed a few of Xavier in the frame, along with his ultrasound pictures. I didn't do anything fancy with the frame, it was rather boring to be exact. Today, I decided to do something with it, I got tired of walking up the stairs looking at it the way it was.

Martini Anyone?

Christmas planning yet again, I see alot of planning in the near future! lol Both of my SIL's love a good drink, especially margaritas and martinis! So, I decided to make etched martini glasses with a little martini recipe book!
I made them a set of four each and one recipe book each.

Star Wars Fans Out There?

What do you get a Star Wars fan for Christmas that they DON'T already have? I ask that every year when Christmas rolls around as my husband and his brother are HUGE fans! This year I wanted to make something for my BIL that no one has, no one has seen and is not sold in your local Walmart.

Recently I have been experimenting with etching, which has been a blast!!! Well, I decided to make an Etched Star Wars Framed picture!  I went to Michaels and got this floating picture frame and then etched one of the pieces of glass! It took me a little over 4 hours, it quite possibly would have been done quicker if it weren't for my adoring 2 year old helper! lol

Here's the finished product:

Christmas in August

That's right this crazy crafter is thinking of Christmas in August! I just finished this advent calendar yesterday and thought I'd share!!! I love how it turned out!

When the calendar arrived in the mail, it was not assembled at all, which for the price I paid for it, I felt it should have been. I had to glue all 4 sides of all 24 boxes, which seemed to take forever!

But here are the before and after shots.

Here is the calendar, assembled:

Here is the advent calendar after I got done with it. I made the center decorations with the Cricut machine, the sleigh will have 'snow' inside of it, I just need to purchase some cotton balls.
